  • Marketing blogs: or affiliate blogs, this type of blogs is based on affiliate marketing; By promoting third party products and services through the blog.
  • Reverse blogging: In this type of blogging; Blog content is created by guest writers and not by the blog owner, although they may write their own articles and publish them on the blog, but their primary role is to moderate and edit submissions from other writers.

The difference between a website and a blog

There are several differences between a website and a blog, the most important of which are the following:

  • Content update :
    • Website > Its content is often static, and rarely updated; Therefore, its content does not change from one visit to another.
    • Blog > Need constant and regular updates; They offer something new periodically, whether it is daily, weekly, or monthly.
  • Readers share
    • Website >The site does not provide an opportunity for readers to share their opinions with the community.
    • Blog > The blog provides an opportunity for readers to share their opinions with the community; This is by allowing them to comment and express their different ideas.
  • Availability of specific items
    • Website > Publications on websites do not include items for bibliography .
